My Midwest team gathered over 1,200 people on 26 campuses in 8 weeks! We experienced increased hunger in communities as the Asbury Outpouring broke out in Kentucky and our faith is so stirred that now is really a time for revival! Not only did the Asbury outpouring happen while we were on tour but also Jesus Revolution came out (if you have not seen it you should)! Seeing the state of our generation on tour made us so grieved for people to experience the love of Jesus. For 2 months straight, we trained students in evangelism, held worship nights uniting many ministries, and got to encourage ministries & churches we were in partnership with!
Answered prayers: We saw many students surrender their lives to Jesus, our team was full of unity & zeal for the gospel, God provided incredible host homes, strength of the journey, and we felt the God of presence go with us as we went. The message this year was on Matthew 16, and the call was for students to pick up their crosses and follow him!
HERE ARE SOME TESTIMONIES:
At Northwestern University a student dedicated her life to Jesus during our gathering standing up and declaring she wanted to follow him! The next day at evangelism training we had over 15 students (at a christian university) who had never preached the gospel before come to Walmart with us and learn! Among those students, one in particular was a natural evangelist and he said “ I can't believe I haven’t done this more”. Getting to find students who will continue to preach the gospel and teach others was a huge win for the future of the campus walking in evangelism.
At another campus, U of M -twin cities, we had been praying for student contacts all of fall. The night we had set aside to just go to campus, we got contacted by a group of students at the campus who wanted to have a Carry the Love event. During evangelism on the campus, a student gave their life to Jesus during evangelism and God healed a torn ligament in their knee completely!!
We partnered NorthCentral University on an administrative level to hold a two-day Activation Conference! Over the two days, we gathered over 400 students and people around the cross, the power of the gospel and the great commission! Worship was full of faith and zeal. This university was definitely a highlight of our time in Minneapolis!
In Chicago, we gathered with 7 different campuses and saw God move in power in the city. At Wheaton College. In particular 12 students came forward to commit their life to missions at a call to go!
At Eastern Illinois University, a student host’s dad (who was a local pastor) took our team out to lunch and asked for prayer for healing for a torn ligament in his arm. He had been doing 3 months of physical therapy, and was still unable to lift anything! The past week he went to get surgery in brazil but his flight had been delayed. We prayed for healing three times, and by the third time he was completely healed! We rejoiced with them, he went home and his wife was shocked as he picked up a heavy object with joy! Praise God that he’s a healer!
Illinois State: We gathered over 160+ students for the Carry the Love gathering! Many were trained in preaching the gospel and there were over 5 rededications and 2 salvation. We made a call to pray for emotional and physical healing during the event and 50+ students raised their hands to receive prayer for anxiety and depression! Many students testified of darkness lifting off them that night and getting freedom from trauma! Praise God!
Currently:
This week we are doing a Carry the Love Festival in LA, with several nights of gospel preaching and music. We saw 54 salvations, including 15 at University of Southern California during evangelism! Last night, two women were healed of Lymes Disease, one of them drove 6 hours to come because she believed God would heal her!
Over the next 7 weeks teams of Circuit Riders are traveling to cities across the US, Europe, Mexico, South Africa, the Philippines, Australia and New Zealand to Carry the Love Festival Nights with a goal to see thousands of Gen Z encounter the only love that transforms, brings change, saves and heals - the love of Jesus!
What’s next:
I will be coleading a month-long outreach that Circuit Riders is doing to schools and communities in South Africa. Our goal is reaching 20,000 high schoolers and college age students across Durban and Johannsburg over the month of May. I am raising a one time fee of 3,500 for housing, food, and flights for this trip!
I am in the month of April in an extended season of fundraising to reach a new monthly goal to accommodate the new expansion of Circuit Riders. We are all getting asked to lead in greater capacities as the movement expands to reach more countries and more of Generation Z. We have a massive influx of young people wanting to come and get training in locations this summer around America.
Prayer Needs:
Continual Encouragement
Prayer for time in South Africa: many salvations and fruit!
